Flo was utterly fantastic in helping us transform our little London garden into a gorgeous urban oasis! Flo managed to come up with a design for our back garden that looked great, gave the whole family space and was easily manageable. She was able to turn our vague concepts into reality and added many ideas of her own that transformed the space. We had a new patio laid, trellises made and planting in separate areas of the garden. All the work was carried out to a very high standard, within the time predicted and Flo was a pleasure to work with throughout. She arranged everything from extra labour to delivery of the plants and gave us plenty of advice on how to keep it looking nice. The fact that the garden looks even better as it matures is a testament to Flo’s knowledge and experience.

When we moved into our house, the back garden had a patch of grass on shallow soil with small borders surrounding it. It was a space we occasionally used, but we knew it could be a space we’d love. We just needed the right person to help turn all our ideas into reality and more. That person is Flo. She was brilliant to work with. She understood immediately where we were coming from, wasn’t fazed by sometimes conflicting ideas (can we have concrete and plants?), and gave us a design beyond what we could imagine. Flo and her team were fab during the build, flexible and easy to check ideas with. The team added things (structural and planting) we never knew we wanted and now wouldn’t be without. Flo and her team are fantastic: unfailingly enthusiastic, hard-working and with expertise and loads of good ideas about landscaping and horticulture. Flo turned our scrubby, neglected and unloved patch of grass into a plant-filled woodland garden, with new fencing and a new pond. All of her planting suggestions were carefully considered to suit the garden conditions, with the result that they are all thriving. She also provides a good-value maintenance service. The brilliant Flo came and looked at my postage stamp-sized London garden, which had been mashed by 3 boys and footballs over the years. Unfazed by my utter lack of knowledge or ideas, she suggested the perfect combination of plants and raised beds which we all now enjoy. She came and nailed it all in 3 days. Was lovely to watch the transformation and it makes me very happy to drink coffee in the sunshine looking at my lovely garden through all the seasons.

Flo totally re-did the garden in my south London home. She started with an abandoned, scrappy yard and turned it into something extraordinary - the kind of place where you end up dying for spring to come so you can spend time in it and start to see all those little surprises she’s planted coming through. What I loved most about her approach is that there’s always something happening out there: it’s not just one month of bloom, then green then wait for the leaves to fall. Instead, you have something that lives in a multitude of different ways all year round. When I sold the house my biggest regret was leaving that garden behind - it was kind of perfect. She’s incredibly easy to work with, very knowledgeable, really, really cares about what she does and is a laugh as well. I’ve talked her into doing the garden in my new home even though it’s miles away because I don’t think I’d trust anyone else now.
