“Every garden begins with an idea, a dream and an ongoing conversation to bring it into the living world. Having your garden designed is as personal and intimate as any room inside your home. Gardens are emotional spaces and the investment is not just financial. Every client wants to ‘see’ themselves in their garden. It’s where people come to relax, and take in the beauty of nature while enjoying the comforts of indoors. My job is to realise that for my clients.”

We create beautiful gardens for rest, play and entertaining, spaces that enhance outdoor living and look good all year round. They are also where nature sits close to you and the impact on the earth is gentle.

I get to know what the client wants and then figure out how we can work to achieve that. Communication is key, so alongside the technical and administrative stuff – survey, designs and planting plans, revisions, contractors and quotes – and throughout the build, I am available to talk through the workflow and find solutions.

Steps in the process:

· Initial phone call with the client

· Book client visit, produce document with description of garden, broad understanding of the brief, and designer costs

· Sign contract

· Detailed survey of the garden

· Mood board and initial concept drawing for discussion

· Final presentation plan and planting plan with full spec and technical drawings where required

· Manage contractors tendering for the build

· Liaise with contractor and on-site monitoring during the build

· Planting days with my team

· Aftercare advice (and maintenance on request)

Whether you want a full or partial garden design, a new planting plan, to develop existing borders, or a garden consultation, get in touch. Garden design and garden development are what we do best.
