Our small back garden was completely overgrown, a real mess and totally unusable. We had thought about redoing the garden ourselves but just never found the time. I had a pretty clear idea in my mind as to what I wanted but on speaking with Flo the plan for the garden changed for the better. I originally though of having a shed at the bottom of the garden but Flo pointed out that it would be so much in view that it would detract from the garden – better to have plants there. As part of the process, Flo came up with several designs and we settled on one that included a patio, a small lawn, flower beds, a small vegetable patch and a small shed in the side return.
The garden is a real success and a great place to be – it really has been like having an extra room this summer. Flo chose all the flowers for the beds and the climbers and also gave us detailed instructions as to their upkeep. She also guided us on all the materials needed, including the pavers for the patio, which look great. Flo works with Chris, a landscape gardner, who is also a real perfectionist. The whole process was explained clearly in advance and we’ve now got a lovely garden which hasn’t cost us the earth. I’ve no hesitation in recommending Flo and Chris.
